Darkheart met Sunlight in Tokyo - she was a dark and quiet wallflower, he was bright sunny and social. They never thought they’d see each other again - until 10 years later they reunited in Pittsburgh PA and began to create.

When they were teaching children in Japan, they received loving nicknames from their students from words that sounds like their names.
Darkheart was named 邪心 (Jashin) for her name and cool composure.
Sunlight was named 日光 (Nikkou) for his name and sunny demeanor.
